Professional Online Stereo Channel & Frequency Response Diagnostic

The Online Speaker & Headphone Test workbench provides comprehensive audio hardware verification without requiring software installation. Utilizing the high-performance Web Audio API engine, this tool synthesizes pure sine and harmonic tones to detect swapped stereo channels, speaker driver rattle, phase inversion, and broken cable wiring.

Core Diagnostic Tests

Our interactive workbench includes specialized audio tests designed to evaluate every aspect of your sound system:

  • Channel Balance Check (Left / Right): Sends a calibrated 440 Hz (A4) tone strictly to the left or right output. Ensures headphone drivers are correctly oriented (L/R) and amplifiers deliver balanced volume.
  • Stereo Imaging (Stereo L+R): Plays pure stereo tones simultaneously in both drivers to test center soundstage focus and spatial localization.
  • Subwoofer & Bass Test (60 Hz): Evaluates low-frequency driver response for subwoofers and bass-heavy headphones. Helps identify mechanical cabinet rattle or distorted cone vibration.
  • Treble & High-Frequency Test (10,000 Hz): Tests tweeter domes for high-frequency extension, harsh sibilance, or muffled output.
  • Phase & Polarity Check (In-Phase / Out-of-Phase): Toggles between normal and inverted phase signals. If out-of-phase audio sounds hollow or loses bass punch, check your speaker wire polarity (+/- connections).

Tone Generator (20 Hz – 20,000 Hz) & Logarithmic Frequency Sweep

Analyze frequency response curves and acoustic resonance using the integrated tone generator:

  • Manual Frequency Selection: Use the slider or numeric input to generate any tone from 20 Hz (lower human hearing limit) to 20,000 Hz (upper acoustic boundary).
  • Selectable Waveforms: Choose between Sine (pure harmonic tone), Square (odd-harmonic rich wave), Sawtooth (synth-like frequency test), and Triangle.
  • Automatic Frequency Sweep (20Hz -> 20kHz): A 5-second smooth logarithmic sweep across the entire audible spectrum. Perfect for finding room resonance, vibrating desk items, or defective speaker surrounds.
