What the Service Includes
The service includes current drive diagnostics (SMART check, CrystalDiskMark read/write speeds, sector health), compatible SSD selection (SATA III 2.5" or M.2 2280/2242/2230, NVMe PCIe 3.0/4.0, 500 GB – 4 TB, Samsung/WD/Kingston/Crucial etc.), system cloning from HDD to SSD (Macrium Reflect / Acronis True Image to keep Windows, programs, files, licenses) or clean Windows install with data transfer, physical drive swap (old drive removal, new SSD installation with secure mounting), BIOS recognition check, chipset driver updates, Windows SSD optimization (AHCI, TRIM, indexing/defrag disable), speed/stability testing (CrystalDiskMark, AS SSD, large file copies). Often combined with laptop repair or software installation.
When the Service is Needed
HDD to SSD replacement or SSD upgrade is needed for slow Windows boot (>60–90 seconds), system lag when opening apps/browser with many tabs, sluggish file/photo/video work, low game loading speeds, insufficient storage space (HDD 500–1000 GB full), loud HDD noise/vibration, desire to significantly speed up an older laptop without buying new. SSD swap provides the most noticeable performance boost even on weak CPUs. In Khmelnytskyi we recommend HDD → SSD for all laptops older than 3–4 years, and SATA → NVMe PCIe upgrade if the slot supports it.

- Setup & optimization: Boot from new SSD, chipset driver updates, TRIM activation, indexing/defrag disable, CrystalDiskMark speed verification.
- Testing: Multi-hour stability check (file copying, program launch, gaming), temperature monitoring, SMART error-free status, before/after speed comparison.
Post-replacement SSD photo report and usage recommendations are provided.
