What the Service Includes

The service covers monitor disassembly, backlight system diagnostics (LED strips, LED driver board, CCFL inverter, high-voltage transformer), replacement of burnt or degraded LEDs, driver board repair, inverter restoration (for CCFL), cable and capacitor checks. We install compatible LED strips matched by voltage and current, balance current across channels, repair traces if damaged. Often combined with TV repair due to similar LED backlight designs.

When the Service is Needed

Backlight repair is required when the monitor powers on but the screen is dim or dark (visible only with flashlight), flickers, has dark edges/stripes, yellows/pinks, or intermittently blacks out. In CCFL models — inverter whine or ozone smell. In LED — individual diode failure causes uneven lighting or total loss of brightness. Common causes: diode aging (4–10 years), overheating, factory defects, driver/inverter failure. If power board is functional but backlight is absent or uneven — the issue is in the backlight system.
