The service covers full chassis disassembly (bottom cover removal, battery disconnect, all fans, heatsinks, heat pipes), mechanical and pneumatic dust removal from fan blades, heatsink fins, heat pipes, air channels, and vent grilles, cleaning of CPU/GPU dies from old paste with 99% isopropyl alcohol, application of fresh high-conductivity thermal paste in an even layer, replacement or restoration of thermal pads on VRM, chipset, VRAM, fan bearing lubrication (for dry whining), heat pipe integrity check, reassembly with all cable/screw verification, and multi-hour stress testing under gaming load (FurMark + Prime95, Cyberpunk 2077, 3DMark Time Spy) with HWiNFO/MSI Afterburner temperature, frequency, and stability monitoring. Often combined with laptop repair or software installation for fan curve optimization.
When the Service is Needed
Cleaning and paste replacement are required when CPU or GPU temperatures in games exceed 90–95 °C, severe throttling occurs (20–40% frequency drop), fans run at max RPM constantly and loudly, the laptop randomly shuts down or restarts under load, games stutter or deliver low FPS compared to previous performance, or fans produce dry whining/grinding. Symptoms usually appear after 6–18 months of active gaming, especially on soft surfaces, in dusty rooms, or without regular care. Work Stages
- Pre-cleaning diagnostics: Stress test launch (AIDA64 + FurMark), temperature/frequency/throttling monitoring in HWiNFO, vent inspection, contamination assessment.
- Full chassis disassembly: Bottom cover removal, battery disconnect, fan/heatsink/heat pipe removal (with reassembly order photographed or marked).
- Deep cooling system cleaning: Dust removal with compressed air, brushes, and tools from all fan blades, heatsink fins, heat pipes, air channels, and vent grilles.
- Thermal paste replacement: Complete old paste removal with 99% isopropyl alcohol and lint-free wipes from CPU/GPU dies, new high-performance paste application (Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut or Arctic MX-6) using pea or cross method.
- Thermal pads & lubrication: Assessment and replacement of soft pads on VRM, chipset, VRAM (0.5–2 mm pads with 6–12 W/m·K conductivity), fan bearing lubrication with special grease (if dry whining present).
- Reassembly & stress testing: Component reinstallation, battery reconnection, multi-hour maximum load testing with temperature, frequency, noise, and stability monitoring (no throttling or artifacts).
